Everything Will Be OK

Hello lovelies!  I am so excited to be here today...and can't wait to get right back into sharing my daily inspirations with you.  Before I get started with that however, I want to take a moment to thank you all for your words of support and encouragement.  Your kindness has carried me through our journey as we moved from New Jersey to our new home in Tulsa, Oklahoma...and I am forever grateful to you all for that!  Another huge thank you also goes out to the wonderful guest bloggers who were willing to fill in for me on only a moments notice.  I can't thank you guys enough!

Oklahoma!  What a change...in all the right ways!  I am delighted to report that we love it here.  Our house is wonderful and our neighbors have all stopped by to welcome us to the neighborhood or have waved us over to say "hi" and tell us how glad they are to see a new family move in.  Refreshing!

In the coming months I'm sure I will have a lot more to share with you about this city that feels much more like a small town (but with all the bells and whistles).  But for now here are a few photos I snapped on our neighborhood walk yesterday evening.  I'll be back with another post later today.  See you soon.  xox Ez

The second photo is my favorite, even though I'm a huge sucker for flowers. I guess I'm an even bigger sucker for sunlight.

As my family contemplates moving from a big city to a smaller one, it would be interesting for me to glean from your transition, and see how it can apply to us in the future.

Gorgeous pictures. I suppose we can always take comfort in the little things. Often times, they're the most beautiful.

Welcome back (and home), Ez! I love your photo of the window peeking out behind the flower bush. So beautiful.

Ez,
I'm from Texas and recently visited Tulsa for the first time ever for a work-related conference, and I was absolutely astounded by the beauty of the city's downtown area and all of the cultural opporunities it offers. It wasn't what I expected to find at all, and I am seriously considering taking a longer vacation to Tulsa soon to spend more time exploring the city. I visited the Philbrook Museum during my visit, and I think it must be one of the highlights of Tulsa -- do go soon and take advantage of the beautiful gardens which must be full of spring blooms right now!
Good luck with settling in! I hope that you'll love your new home.

I am so happy that your move went well and, more importantly, that you are already feeling a part of the place. How nice to have neighbors who make a point to welcome you to the neighborhood! I wish you all the best and wonderful adventures in your new home!

We recently moved from a crummy neighborhood to a warm and friendly one (though only across town) so I can imagine a little of what you must be feeling. You were in the wrong place and now you are in the right place. Everything WILL be OK. A fresh start on the right path... I'm so happy for you! And are those dogwood flowers in that last photo? Gorgeous!

So glad you are liking your new home!! It really is the people that make all the difference isn't it? So happy you girls are surrounded by kind, welcoming people!! I've only heard the best things about Oklahoma, I guess it really is OK (couldn't resist) =)
