One Good Thing: Jamie Oliver Jme Food Packaging

I was browsing around on the Williams Sanoma site the other day when I spotted this awesome food packaging for Jamie Oliver's brand Jme.  Love!  Next I hopped over to his website where I discovered even more fantastic products, packaging, and this little behind the scenes video of Jamie talking about his brand the designers behind it (video plays automatically when the page loads - for those of you browsing at work).  Enjoy!  xo

These are awesome! They look as though someone was making jam/whatever in their kitchen & just scribed the labels themselves. So great.

He's a smart cookie, that Jamie! His Jamie at Home series (hope it was shown in the US) was styled so beautifully – the doodle recipe drawings, the mismatched secondhand crockery and kitchenware he used – all of it looked so good I'm not surprised he or his advisers thought they should go down the lifestyle route. I think his stuff looks fab and if I wasn't for buying secondhand pretty much all the time I'd probably snap up a lot of it! Thanks for posting about this.

Those are amazing labels- I love the "my kid just scribbled this in" feel they have.

Wow, a sign that a "big company" doesn't have to waste its megabucks marketing money on shite '80s style packaging. Why can't they all be this design-centric? I would love shopping at the supermarket then!

Love your blog! x

These are great - I imagine they'd make a nice last-minute gift basket as well - the "handmade" look would add that extra special touch.

Thanks for your lovely comments guys! I'm so glad you love this packaging as much as I do!
@ Maxabella - that's such a great point! If the whole design world operated like Jamie's team, shopping would be a dream.
@ Diana - That's a great idea! These would lend themselves so well to gifting!
@ Vicky - Me too! :-)

I saw this recently and decided they would make perfect gifts-simply because of the packaging. I am sure they taste amazing too:)
