Everyday Inspirations: A New Favorite Color Palette

A little while back I started a post series that was to take inspiration from my daily life. I kind of forgot about it until a few weeks ago when I looked across the stormy sea of my desktop and spotted four objects looking back at me in the loveliest color palette. I am now obsessed with these hues together and am declaring them my official Early-Spring colors! What do you think? What are your current color crushes? xo Ez

If you'd like, you can find my two previous Everyday Inspirations posts here.

In fact, this picture even has the peapod, the honeysuckle (a slightly lighter version), the silver peony, the regatta and hints of the beeswax. While I respect the taste of PANTONE, I’m seriously digging this incredible spring color palette from Creature Comforts...

I must be craving a bit of Summer in my world right now because I can't get enough of aqua, lemon yellow, bright orange, and bright green...like an old Pyrex bowl full of citrus basically! Even though it is currently sunny here in Seattle, those bright colors are very helpful in getting me through the drippy Winter days around here.

I love your color combo-the addition of the red really makes it pop!

I am always a big fab of coral. Never would have thought to put it with blue, but oh my, that is a lovely palette you've made! I have a palette of sherbet hues that make a creamy vintage dream.
I actually just posted about it on my new blog yesterday!

I just bought that pouf from CB2...can't wait to get it! I think you'd love my living room (see on my blog) ...has some of those blues and I will be adding the pouf to go with it. I just knew those colors could work together!

I just knit myself a lovely chunky coral-colored cowl, and I've been planning to pair it mainly with greys and blacks. But looking at this grouping - now I'm thinking it wants to be worn with a royal blue sweater and pink shirt! Thanks for the inspiration!

The addition of the salmon color adds a fun punch to the nautical feeling I get from this palatte. The images you collected are beautiful and inspiring.

This is the color scheme that I use in my living room. Isn't it a fantastic combination? Here's a peek at a little corner of my living room (third image from the top): http://designfixation.blogspot.com/2010/02/blog-it-forward-what-inspires-me.html I have not, however, utilized that delicious salmon color - thanks for the idea!

My son brought home a worksheet from preschool last fall with these colors scribbled all over with a little gold added ... and I put it in my "idea" book because I just loved the colors together. You never know where one might find inspiration.

I hope you don't mind, and I should have asked your permission first, but loved this inspiration so much, that I used it as inspiration for my own wedding board. Link is here, next time, will let you know first.

The shade of the pink is what I like the best with these color palettes. This color is very cold in the eyes but very beautiful.
