Free Printable: A is for Apple + Award Mini Notes

Hello lovelies! I hope you are enjoying a wonderful first day of September. My daughter is back in school now (woohoo) and throughout the year I will be surprising her with little love notes in her backpack or lunch box.  It's something so simple but it feels like such a nice way to let her know how special she is.

These two designs (apple and award) are the first that I put together and I want to share them with you so that you too can pass them on to the loved ones in your life. Of course your someone special doesn't have to be a kid...you could surprise your significant other, co-worker, child's teacher, or even leave one somewhere with a sweet note for a stranger to find. I designed these to be small enough to fit inside the credit card slot of a wallet. Perfect for clipping and giving on the go!

For best results print onto heavy-weight paper. File prints 8 notes to a page with 4 of each design in two colors.

Other uses:

  • Gift tags — punch a hole at the top and string with twine.
  • Decorative labels / stickers — print onto sticker paper or use glue to adhere to desired surface (these would be really cute for closing up gift bags at a party).
  • Address label - the apple design would work well as a mailing label for an envelope or package.
  • Scrapbooking
  • Garland — punch a hole at the top of each note and tie it onto some pretty ribbon. String above a table or doorway and enjoy!
  • Bookplate — Print onto sticker paper and then use a fine tip permanent marker to write your name inside the design. Stick inside your favorite books before loaning them out.

I hope you will enjoy these! Please feel free to share the love on your blog. Sharing is caring. For non-commercial use only.  xo Ez

Psst...need some more sweetness? Additional apple-themed downloads can be found right here.

Free Download: Printable Party Bunting + Cupcake Toppers

Hello there everyone!  Today I wanted to share with you all a new download that I made for Free Printable Party Bunting + Cupcake Toppers.  Of course I was mostly inspired by the upcoming 4th of July holiday here in the US, but these would work great for a nautical themed party, a child's room decor, and more.  The sky's the limit, so play around with it and have fun.

Supplies Needed:

  • Card stock
  • Color Printer
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick
  • Twine (for bunting)
  • Beads (optional - for bunting)
  • Toothpicks (for cupcake toppers)

Simple directions are included on the PDF.

SOME OTHER USES:

Decor for my daughter's bedroom:

When my daughter saw me putting together my first sample bunting she immediately wanted to know if she could make one to hang in her room.  So yesterday afternoon we created one to hang above her bed.  For an extra special touch we threaded gold beads as spacers between the flags.  The entire project only took about 30 minutes and the finished results are so nice.  I have one very happy 11 year old.

As a Simple Invitation / Card:For an easy little invitation I just snipped the cupcake flags in half and glued them to a piece of colored card stock.  I made this one really quickly as an example to share with you, but I'm sure with some more time and thought that the results you could come up with would be truly fabulous.

Also, I didn't get a chance to photograph it, but another sweet idea would be to use the smaller flags to make a mini party bunting.  This you could use with traditional decorating methods, or perhaps you could drape it on a wedding cake for an unexpected and affordable touch, or use in place of ribbon on your next gift package.  I'm sure you can come up with even more clever ideas and I'd love to hear what you make with your free printable.  Enjoy!  xo Ez

In case you missed it up above...here is your free download:

Guidelines for Use: For non-commercial use only.  If you'd like to share this printable on your blog (hurray) please link to this post directly and do not host the actual file(s) on your site.  Thanks for sharing!

Apple Picking and Free Printable Apples Stationery Set

Hello lovely ones!  This past weekend Marichelle, Hillsy (her boyfriend), my daughter and I piled into the car for a trip to Melick's Town Farm where we picked apples until we could pick no more (or at least until poor Hillsy could carry no more)!  I have so many happy memories involving picking apples throughout my lifetime that the activity actually ranks as one of my top 10 favorite things to do...ever!  Needless to say, the day was a blast!

In any event, I've decided to celebrate my weekend activity by giving you all this free download for the Green Apple Printable Stationery Set that I used to sell in my shop.  (You may recognize the apple shape from this freebie that I put together a while back).  There are so many things you could use this set for and I hope you will have fun with it.

The set includes:

  • 2 note flats
  • 2 folded cards
  • 2 gift tags
  • 1 stationery sheet

Since this was previously offered for sale in my etsy shop, I hope you'll ignore the text included on the PDF that pertains to that.  Enjoy and please feel free to link here if you'd like to share this project on your blog or site!  Sharing is caring.

Free Printable Apple Note Flats

It's almost the end of the school year and inevitably this means parents everywhere are scurrying around in a desperate search for an affordable gift to give their child(rens) teacher(s).  Coffee mug? Potted plant?... might I suggest these free adorable little Apple Note Flats that I made for you all to download and enjoy.  : )

Of course these aren't only meant as teacher gifts... they are for everyone!  The penmanship grid at the bottom enables you to customize the cards by writing in a name or words that you want.  You could also leave them blank and allow the recipient to add in their own text.  I'm having my daughter write her teacher's name on a set, then we'll tie it up with some pretty envelopes, and bada-bing we're done!

  • Download the Free Cute Apple Note Flats (prints 4 to a sheet - 2 of each color)
  • Print onto heavy-weight cardstock with a color printer
  • Cut along the outer lines
  • Customize (optional)

If you download these I'd absolutely love to hear your feedback on the design and the creative ways you plan on using them!

*The annoying technical stuff:  Please remember that this and all my freebies are for personal non-commercial use only.  That means that you can print and use them for yourself or give them as a gift to a friend or loved one, but they shouldn't be sold or redistributed in any other way.  If you'd like to share this project with your blog readers, please link directly to this post.  Thanks so much for your support!  Enjoy!  xox  Ez
